another week gone

Another week gone;
brief summer breezes carry
the hot days away.

I've been spending quite a bit of time trying to tweak this blog to my satisfaction. I think I might finally have it where I want it for now. My goal was to get the blog where I feel comfortable posting on a consistent basis without beating myself up when I don't. Commitment is not my strong suit. It's been a week since my last post -- where is the time and the summer going? The middle of July. Yikes.

Hopefully it won't be another week before I post again.

Wireless router?

After 24 hours of "power down, power up" and one phone call to technical support later, I'm up and running again. However, the problem seems to be with my wireless router which is no longer routing. Note to self: register products as soon as they are installed.

I'm still trying to get this blog set up to my liking. After using Typepad for a couple of years I'm having to work a little harder at getting this blog set up. So far so good. I hope to begin regular posting soon. Still working out the details of the content.

the middle way

After three plus years of blogging I've not been consistent on any of the blogs I've owned. More often than not I've wondered why I bother to blog. Knowing what to put out there and what is better kept off the blog is a fine line. I've tried themes. I've tried posting contests and even won prizes in the past. But after fulfilling my posting requirements I'm right back to my old ways. My current plan is to consolidate all my blogs and focus solely on this one. I don't know where this will take me. I'm still in the process of laying the groundwork. Simplicity is the key word here. Simply. Susan.
