timeworn bones

Sunshine glorious
heat radiates to the core
warming timeworn bones

waiting for sunshine

Cat fur soft as new
fallen snow on the back porch
waiting for sunshine

day twenty-three

Twenty-three days of
the new year mild and breezy
Beautiful sunshine!

bright, shiny and new

First day of the year
feeling the warmth of the sun
bright, shiny and new.
